Robert “Bob” J. Nuessen, of Basehor, KS., passed away in his home on Saturday, Sept. 12, 2015 peacefully. Visitation will be 9-10 a.m. with the Funeral Service at 10:00 a.m. both Wednesday Sept. 16 at the Alden-Harrington Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the St. Joseph Cemetery in Olpe, KS.
Bob was born on April 20, 1924 in Olpe, KS the youngest of three children born to Clem & Clara Nuessen. He retired from General Motors in Fairfax after 30 years of service. Everyone that knew Bob knew he loved spending time at the home he built (by himself) at the beautiful Lake of the Ozarks. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Orville Nuessen and one sister Mildred White. “Uncle Bob” will be missed by many nieces and nephews.
