Basic Services of the Funeral Director and Funeral Home Staff
The goods and services shown below are those items we can provide to our customers. You may choose only those items you desire. However, any funeral arrangements you select will include a chrage for our basic services and overhead. If legal or other requirements mean you must buy any item or service you did not specifically ask for, we will explain the reason in writing on the funeral statement we provide describing the funeral goods and services you selected.
The basic services of the funeral director and staff includes, but is not limited to staff to respond to inital requests for service; arrangement conference with family and responsible parties; arrangement of funeral; Preparation and placement of obituary notice; and coordination and consultation with those providing other portions of the funeral or memorial service, e.g. clergy, musicians, cemetery, crematory, vault companies and others as required. Also included in this charge are overhead expenses relative to our facility such as professional licensing, legal and accounting fees, insurance, building and utility expenses, parking lot and grounds, maintenance, recordkeeping, and administrative expenses. Our basic services and overhead will be added to the total cost of the funeral arrangements you select. (This is already included in our charges for direct cremation, immediate burials, and forwarding or receiving remains.)
Embalming
Except in certain special cases, law does not require embalming. Embalming may be necessary, however, if you select certain funeral arrangements, such as a funeral with viewing. If you do not want embalming, you usually have the right to choose an arrangement that does not require you to pay for it, such as direct cremation or immediate burial.

Visitation at the Funeral Home
Our sevices include visitation setup, use of visitation room, placement of encased remains, display of floral arrangements, and supervision and attendance during the visitation.
Visitation at another Facility
Our services include local transportation of encased remains, visitation setup, placement of encased remains, floral displays, and supervision and attendance during visitation.
Funeral or Memorial Service at the Funeral Home
Our services include coordinating the funeral or memorial service arrengements, supervision of the service, necessary staff to conduct the service, supervision of the committal or other disposition service, and preparation and setup for the service including placement of the encased remains, display of floral arrangements, and use of our facilities for the services.
Funeral or Memorial Service at another Facility
Our services include local transportation of the encased remains, coordinating the funeral or memorial service arrengements, supervision of the service, necessary staff to conduct the service, supervision of the committal or other disposition service, and preparation and setup for the service including placement of the encased remains, display of floral arrangements, and use of our facilities for the services.
Graveside Committal Service
Our services include coordinating the graveside or committal service arrangements, supervision of the service, necessary staff to conduct the service, supervision of the committal or other disposition service, preparation and setup for the service including placement of the encased remains and floral arrangements.
Memorial Services Facility
Use of our facilities for a memorial service without our professional service is available for a charge.

Immediate Burial
Immediate burial includes transfer of remains, local transportation to cemetary, necessary authorizations and basic services of the Funeral Director and staff. This does not include the use of the facilities or staff for any visitation, public or private prior to burial other than the committall or other disposition service.
Direct Cremation
Direct cremation includes transfer of remains, local transportation to and from the crematory, the cremation fee, necessary authorizations and permits, and the basic services of the Funeral Director and staff. This does not include the use of the facilities for any visitation or ceremonies, public or private, prior to or after the cremation. If you want to arrange for a direct cremation, you are not required to use a casket, but the crematories will not accept a body for cremation unless it is encased in a minimum alternative cremation oriented container.
