Condolence: My condolences to the Ed Nealy family. Coach Nealy was my High School basketball coach from 1974-5. He was a rock solid mentor for me. I can still hear him saying to us at practice.." maybe they will put handles on the ball next year" take a lap. Great coach! Fond memories. May he rest in peace.

Condolence: My condolences to the family. I am sorry to hear about Coach Nealy. He had a significant impact on me in high school. He taught me to drive, was my PE teacher and my position coach in football. I was his gym aid as a Senior and I worked for him at the old fun valley pool. I always liked him and respected him. He was honest and fair. Long after I graduated he attended my little brother Billie's funeral. I have always appreciated that gesture. Sorry that I will not be able to attend Coach Nealy's service. Rest in peace.

Condolence: While serving as the head football coach at Webb City while Ed was the head basketball coach, we served as each others assistant on occation. Ed was the best football scout I ever had on staff. We enjoyed free time playing a little golf (me) and Ed playing a lot of golf and having a good time at a card table. Truly enjoyed his friendship. OAGAAG! (once a gorilla always a gorilla). Rest in peace Ed. Tom Gosch

Condolence: My condolences got out to all of those who were kin to Ed. As his second cousin, from Carthage, I was always proud of his accomplishments even though many of them resulted in Webb City beating Carthage. We both shared Tabitha Nealy as a great grandmother and it was great sharing stories about her, over the years, via e-mail. Amazingly, he was on my mind the day prior to finding his obituary. RIP, cousin Ed The
