LOWELL D. STARK
Lowell D. Stark, 78, of Bonner Springs, KS passed away on Thur., Jan. 12, 2017 at The Piper Assisted Living in Kansas City, KS. The family will receive friends at the visitation from Noon to 1 pm, and the Memorial service will be at 1 pm, on Tue., Jan. 17 both at the Monticello United Methodist Church at 23860 W. 75th St. in Shawnee, KS 66227. The family suggests memorial contributions to the Monticello United Methodist Church or the Alzheimer's Association in care of the Alden-Harrington Funeral Home. Lowell was born on Feb. 23, 1938 in Eldon, MO and graduated from School of the Osage in 1956. He worked at Fairbanks-Morse in Kansas City, KS for 44 years retiring in 2003. He enjoyed singing and was in the Kaw Valley Community Chorus and the Lawrence Civic Choir for many years. He especially loved to travel with his family. He is survived by his wife of 42 years Jackie Stark of the home and two children Tom Stark (Twyla) and Cindy Borders all of Kansas City, KS.
