Pauline Williams, age 104, of Piper, KS. passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 22, 2016 at her home. Funeral Service will be 2pm Friday, Nov. 25, at the Alden-Harrington Funeral Home. Following cremation private burial will be in the Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens Cemetery, KC,KS.
Pauline was born on May 27, 1912 in Coats, KS. and was the 11th of 12 children born to Jack & Mable (Barnes) Freeman. Pauline had lived in Dodge City, KS., and moved to this area with her husband Wilford Williams in 1948. She was mostly a housewife, but had worked as a Beautician for a short time. Pauline had also volunteered as the manager at the Bonner Springs Vaughn Trent Thrift Store in the 1980’s. She was preceded in death by her parents, all of her siblings, her husband, one son Gordon Williams, and two daughters Mary and Sharon Williams. Survivors include two sons; Steve and Randy Williams of the home, 11 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
