Joann Grinstead
Joann “Jody” Norwood Grinstead was born June 24, 1922 in Vernon, Texas to Daniel Henry Norwood and Laura Edith (Parker) Norwood. She passed away peacefully July 24, 2016 in Lenexa, Kansas. Jody was a longtime resident of Bonner Springs, KS. She was a member of the Bonner Springs United Methodist Church, the library board, garden club and an investment club. Jody enjoyed traveling, spending winters in AZ, doing crafts, playing games and loved tracing the family’s genealogy. Jody was predeceased by her husband Wm. D. “Dal” Grinstead and survived by Dan Grinstead, M.D., his wife Amelia (Gordon) Grinstead of Walla Walla, WA., Joe Grinstead, Ph.D. his wife Karen Swisher of Shawnee, KS., five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
