Thomas Kenneth Cullen, Jr., age 63, of Edwardsville, KS passed away Wed., Nov. 19, 2014 at Providence Medical Center in Kansas City, KS. Funeral services will be at 11 AM, Sat., Nov. 22, at the Alden- Harrington Funeral Home in Bonner Springs, KS with private committal to follow a later date in Edwardsville Cemetery. Friends may call at the visitation from 6 to 8 PM, Fri. evening, Nov. 21 at the funeral home. Tom was born on September 19, 1951 in Kansas City, KS and had lived and grew up in the Turner area before moving to Edwardsville 1989. He was a US Army veteran and had served in Alaska. He later became a police officer and served on the Kansas City Kansas Police Department, retiring in 2003. He enjoy going to the lake with his family, especially fishing and boating. He is survived by his former wife of 40 years Sue Ann Cullen of Edwardsville, KS. Four children Laura Price and her wife Karen Burk of Lawrence, KS; Jodie Price of California; Brian Cullen of Kansas City, MO and Lisa Cullen and her significant other Jason Hendrix of Bonner Springs, KS. His mother Marguerite Cullen of Kansas City, KS. Two brothers Kevin and Mike Cullen both of K.C., KS and two sisters Kathleen and Elaine. Six grandchildren Carmen, Dakota, Dylan, Kajana, Kavon and Ka’neisha.
