Marvin C. “Pop” Moore, age 79, of Bonner Springs, KS. passed away on Tuesday Oct. 28, 2014 at his home. Private services will follow at a later date with burial in the Bonner Springs Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to the Bonner Springs Animal Rescue in care of the Alden-Harrington Funeral Home.
Marvin was born on January 19, 1935 in Hartville, Missouri. He was preceded in death by his son Marvin Eugene Moore. Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Dorothy “DJ” Moore of the home, daughter Maricia Kay Stephens of Ohio; five grandchildren Marvin Eugene Moore II, Michael Eugene Moore, Tyler Scott Moore, Kimberly Tadlock and Megan Kirby; two great-grandchildren Dylan Michael Moore and Charleigh Roberts.
